Do you have any regrets with any purchases you’ve made in the hobby? Fish? Coral? Equipment? What is that one thing you wish you never got?

I have none as i tend to be selective with what I add however every fish has their own personality and temperament and whats a great fish for one person, can be a nightmare for others. An example would be a Royal Gramma

All the live rock I bought back in the day and just threw it in my tank. SO many unwanted hitchhikers. Didn't think it through. With the reboot, I'm gonna be VERY careful about I put in there.

a large marineland tank and stand used from an LFS. after installation the tank moved 1/4 inch either side (the stand moved)

PS - the tank didn't break or anything but the paranoia about it breaking just made me say 'no'.

A LOT OF wild caught SPS, actually SPS in general, as i always seem to have them do great for 6 months, and then have a massive RTN for some unknown reason.
