Some of my zoas have been closing up some have even melted. I have some shrooms turning brown and shriveling so I thought this might be bacterial in nature. I did a peroxide dip to get the brown off of a closed colony and the cup was filled with little tiny specks that look like bugs, but they don't really move much in the tank.

I watched for 5 minutes with a magnifying glass and they didn't move at all, so not sure if their pods or what.

In tank under blues they look black, but in the cup they were more red or brown. Any help with ID or treatment ideas is much appreciated.

You can see the dots on the frag plugs in the photos- on the pink zoas you can see one is on a closed polyp.

If it's the things in the sand bed, yes flatoworms. Can be a nuisance, unlikely to make zoas melt and unlikely to survive a peroxide bath.

I put some in 5ml of water with 3 drop of flatworm exit and they're still alive, two hours later. These things are are alive still. I recently added a 6 line and he's uninterested. Wonder if something else will eat them bc there's a lot. Thanks for the reply's
