First check floor is level lol. Then measure off floor same all 4 sides. Should be good and level
The house is 70+ years old, nothing is level, square, or plumb!

Can you screw the middle ones all the way in and then just use the outside ones to level?
I consisted it, though that would mean the weight is distributed between fewer feet. That said, there are no center vertical braces, so the load is primarily supported by the edge feet...

Best I could do with the Waterbox stand that is built the same way was:

Tape off the general location where the tank will go.

Use a long level to check what adjustments will be needed and measure the adjustments with a ruler.

Transfer those measurements to the feet of the stand as best you can.
This is close to where I landed as well. I was thinking I could set the outside feet to get it level, flip the stand, then use a long straight edge to bright bring the interior feet to the extension.

Thanks for your ideas everyone.

Also. How serious are you about leveling. If you’re willing pull up carpet then self leveling cement even on an old house is a magical thing. That is, if your floor is wood joists or lvl…. That’s just more weight.

That's a better plan. Only concern would be a high spot in the middle but that is easy enough to fix.
