Yeah, what do you guys do to get it up. Feed more? Pull some chaeto? I have an open channel on my doser so I could dose nitrate but I really feel like I’d hate to do that. I used to seriously battle nitrate, maybe I’m winning that battle too well. I think maybe all my corals and refugium is sucking it up.

I think I will do an extra feeding a day per feeder for a while and see if it pops up a little bit. (4 feedings a day to 6)

From my post last night with a couple struggling sps frags.

Here’s the photos of the two. Any thoughts?

Parameters were posted back a few pages but everything basically kosher except nitrates at 0 and phosphates at .18.

I’m seeing a bit better polyp extension today. Hoping the iodine dip helped.

PO4 is fine, but NO3 is not. Zero NO3 can negatively affect coral health, leading to stunted growth and poor coloration due to nutrient deficiency. Maybe try feeding fish more or use Brightwell neo nitro

Personally, I like feeding fish more vs adding chem to my tank.

Yeah, I added two more feedings today and will continue that until I see some more nitrates. I’m hesitant to dose.

Considering pulling some chaeto, but need it for the phosphates I think.

Just add reef roids a little

You’re far past just adding two feedings, you need to dose nitrates. Adding two feedings or adding reefroids will add more PO4 as well.

Why are you hesitant? You’re starving your corals my friend, id tell you to feed more if your N03 was at least 5-10

One could argue that corals are not animals.
all depends on the intelligence of the people at eBay and if they know that coral technically is an animal
hmm not sure how you argue it’s not an animal- quite literally part of the animal kingdom

Some people are ignorant

One “could” argue it’s more of a plant because many of them root themself to the ground, lack a brain, etc

An intelligent person could win an arguement / discussion against someone unintelligent, even if they are wrong

#1. An intelligent person can never win an argument with an unintelligent person.
