Had her for 6 weeks, usually active and eating well. 3 days ago started flashing against back wall, not eating. Now just hiding in rocks, or laying on them.

Sorry cannot see video.
#fishmedic
It is playing for me. The fish is listless, just hugging the rockwork, and looks (to me) to have Ich, but I don't want to offer bad advice here.

@Denise Kulm could you please post your video to YouTube and link back here on R2R; for some members that works better with videos.

Or, post some clear pictures under the whitest light you have (turn off your blues).

This will help the experts better help you and your fish.

I thought the spots may be detritus from blowing off rockwork. Would it show up 6 weeks after addition to tank? So sad to see her sick. Gave a 5 min freshwater dip per recommendation of LFS. Now she is inside a rock.

Flashing generally from flukes but fish is showing ich and will need to be treated in a separate tank using coppersafe at treatment level 2.25 for a FULL 30 days (do not interrupt this 30 day period) monitored by a reliable Copper Test kit such as Hanna Brand- No API brand. Also monitor Ammonia levels while in quarantine with a reliable test kit and add aeration during treatment using an air stone.
The display tank will have to be kept fishless (FALLOW) for 6-8 weeks to assure the existing parasites go through their life cycle without a host fish and die off and with occupants exposed, they too should go into quarantine
A quarantine tank can be as simple as a tank from a second hand store or a starter kit from Walmart which most of the needed essentials.

Absolutely solid advice as always, vetteguy53081!

@Denise Kulm I hope your Gramma is hanging in there!

The above R2R member is a well respected expert; please differ to him.

But if you need a little help to unpack that advice and make it happen, please post again. I think that's where I can hopefully help :)

As always, best of luck!
