Do they make a connection that fits one end tiny soft dosing tube and other end to rodi fitting?

Why would they make it so super duper tiny. Crazy! rodi should be the standard or come with fittings to convert.

You can actually use the same nipple fittings that fit on the flexible tubing. Boil some water and dip the RODI tubing in the hot water for 10 seconds or so, then slip it on the fitting. It will cool and re-harden creating a perfect seal. I did this with my DOS.

That works too. I like the clean look of direct RO tubing without adapters so I thought it was awesome when I found out you can soften the tubing to fit airline fittings.
Yeah, I was just picturing the tiny soft dosing tubing on my red sea doser and thinking there was no way RODI was going to fit on that doser so adapting to RODI seemed like the only viable option for that but I do like the way you were able to fit RODI tubing on that DOS. I've also seen people replace the screw down mechanism on the DOS with a RODI fitting of some sort and lock RODI into it that way.

Actually they may be very slightly larger ID. Like 4mm. Maybe the DOS uses a slightly larger than standard airline tubing. I got mine off ebay and it didn’t come with tubing so I tried the RODI tubes. I assumed it was for airline, but perhaps not. Sorry if I misled anyone! Now I’m going to have to try it with a regular airline fitting to see how wrong I was lol

Edit: Turns out the RODI tubing does fit on regular airline tube fittings with the hot water to soften the RODI tube. See follow-up post below with video.

I simply ordered colored soft tubing with 3mm ID and 6mm OD and use them with RO fittings on both sides (container side and sump side).

The RO tubing is about 6.4mm OD, but I’ve found that because there’s no real pressure ever applied and the fittings have slight inner tolerances it fits perfectly.

I believe so, reef factory and from what brs told me Red Sea uses this tiny size. The OD is ¼ because I was about to push the whole tube into a ¼ bulkhead. I was going to look for ⅛ barb x ¼ quick connect. Haven't be able to find one yet.

I think you have me on ignore due to our little spat in another thread, but I think you will find my responses here useful. Per my earlier replies, you can just connect the two with an 1/8 inch barb on both ends.
