Hi out there..... Does anyone have experience with this UV Sterilizer?
The Green Killing Machine?

I have watched a couple of YouTube videos and one person does not have it completely submerged and another person has it completely submerged in the water.....

I set mine up like the first person just a little above the water line and when I got up this morning it came off of the glass wall of the aquarium and was in the water.....
So my question is ..... Is it now ruined?

Thanks
Mary

no experience with the brand mentioned. but uv filters can clear up blooms bacterial or algae.
This model is submersible but i would leave the return out of water just above the water line so you know its flowing and not clogged etc.

As long as the pump is working its not ruined. Turn it off and get all the air out of it and re position it against glass under water and turn it back on. If the red light on controller is on its still working. Just make pump is running. Thanks

I have run them both ways.. completely submerged and also with top part of the pump above the water line it doesn’t really matter but the light housing needs to be completely submerged according to manufacturer.
