Yup. I've been sleeping downstairs with Johann because he is having trouble with the stairs. The stuff on the floor is there to help him get traction on the hardwood.

The fish arrived in pretty rough shape. Cold, and in the case of the Tang, beat up pretty badly, which I am more than a little miffed about.

I don't think the wrasse is going to make it. I helped him bury into the sand bed. It is up to the reefing gods now.

The tang is looking better. I have him in the mangrove fuge with minimum flow. He is swimming around exploring and is a lot less listless now. I'm optimistic. Fingers crossed.

The coral and inverts all look good. They are currently temp acclimating in the sump. About to start acclimation, but that needs to be done in batches. Pics to follow.

Good morning, Heathens.

The Tang didn't make it, and I haven't seen the wrasse. Though not optimistic, I'll give it a week before making the call.

Even more sad news: Venom killed Lady Chanel. He spiked her in the face and gill. It wasn't pretty- both her eyes bulged out of her head, her gill was super inflamed and bloody, and she turned almost completely brown. All in a matter of 45 mins. It was gruesome.

Yeah, but the maintenance and repairs will kill you. Just took my BMW in for oil change and 50k maintenance and ended paying for a water pump… pump alone was $1100. By the time I got out of their it was over $1800.
