Turn the brightness up? I like adjusting the ISO and shutter speed rather than the generic brightness though. Also, post editing you might add a little blue tone back in and pop up to around 15?

I don't use Adobe though, so I'm not sure...

This was taken with my phone. Can I do all of that in settings somehow? Are there better phone camera apps than the one that comes preinstalled? I'm figuring out the background editor in PS express, but for all of it's cool features, it is nowhere near as robust as the full software. Which, for note, I have no idea how to use either. I have GIMP on my comp, I believe that is the open source version of PS, but I don't know how to use that either, and I'm lazy. Le sigh.

I'm playing around with the new orphek lenses and camera angles this morning. Also fumbling my way through the Adobe app to edit. Here's another pic I took. Any advice from the photography gurus would be appreciated. I don't feel comfortable asking on the photography sub yet.

I find it very hard to get good autofocus when I take a picture from an angle.

No, you go in one way and out the other. Basically you get to see almost half of the island that way.

Then, if he doesn't turn around to get the picture, he hates puppies.

If you have an iPhone you can focus lock by pressing/holding your subject. Additionally, when pressing/holding you can swipe up/down to change your exposure.

Hah, fair enough. I’d imagine our opinions align.

Frankly, I work in technology, prior to being in management I had to fix technology. My approach is that I would rather pay a little more, or a technically inferior product, that I take out of the box and it works. If it doesn’t, I drive down the street to the Apple Store and they give me a new one. I have 0 time, energy, or desire to tinker with my phone, tablet, or computer.

Plus all of my family is overseas and uses Apple stuff, the best way to keep in contact with them is via FaceTime.

But yea, Jobs was a point of sale and Apple Corp is evil (but fine me one that isn’t - LOL)

Use "Pro" or "Manual" mode. Adjust the white balance some with the filter in place and see what the best combination is.

As someone who drives many different chevy’s and fords for my job Fords are far superior. Though if given the choice of truck Id have a Toyota.
