Treating Tank for Velvet?

I think that 2 of my fish may have velvet. One of my clowns has super what looks like white dust. It's very very faint. He is acting totally fine. My Royal Gramma, has begun to have labored breathing, swimming to the top of the tank, not eat. He also has what appears to be very very faint white dust.

My question is how do I treat the other fish? I have in total 2 clowns, royal gramma, coral beauty and flame angel. If I need to move them all to a QT, what size tank is adequate? I only have a spare 10G at the moment. Do I need to treat them all?

White light pics and video would be helpful so we don't misdiagnose. If sure it's velvet then a qt tank with coppersafe or copper power at 2.25 for 30 days while display is fallow for 46 day is best.

whether much or velvet, apply coppersafe or copper power for a full 30 days at treatment level 2.25 monitored by Hanna brand copper test kit and add aeration during treatment
Additionally, maintain good water quality and treat all fish exposed and leave display tank without any fish for 6-8 weeks
Please post pics or video under white light intensity for clear identification
Some symptoms of velvet are heavy breathing, loss of appetite, swimming in path of flow, gasping at surface as examples

If they have velvet you would have to treat them all - and leave your other tank fallow for 6-8 weeks. while you're waiting, I would treat them with prazipro per protocol as well. The labored breathing points to a gill issue. I'm assuming all of your other parameters are fine?

I think a ten gallon tank would be too small for those fish, especially the two angels.

Going to the very top near the gyre for hours, and then laying on the rocks breathing and looking like this. Thoughts? I have also included the clown who I also thought had some white dust. His mouth has always been a bit white like what you seen in the video since I got him a couple years ago, that is normal.

That does look like velvet, I would treat with coppersafe at a full 2.25 ppm dose right away (no invertebrates of course).

Yes, as long as you are measuring the copper accurately, you can put fish straight into 2.25 coppersafe with no issues.

As I said yesterday though, I think the 10 gallon is too small.

2.5ppm is the highest value recommended. You just never want to dip below 2ppm (with the error margin of the test kit in mind). 2.25ppm gives you room.

By the way - the reason I said that - is that some people may take that to heart and add a gallon jug to the tank. Stranger things have happened
