I myself, don’t rinse. I have always felt like the frozen food gravy would find its way to all of my corals. I can definitely rationalize an opposite view but I like to feed my whole tank.
“Frozen food gravy”. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

1. Do you rinse your frozen feasts or not, and why?

Mmmm? Not totally convinced @HudsonReefer2.0: So I have a 180 gallon and so Jake Adams may not be talking about my tank. That being said, the main written about foreign nutrient mentioned was “free oils” not totally sure what that is. Sounds bad but here are PE Mysis shrimp I believe Canadian freshwater shrimp that not only are packed in that water but hatched, grew up, bred, and matured in that water. My question would be if that nutrient and others assisted these delicate shrimp in their life cycle then why would I want to rinse that out of my food and feeding? That’s where my logic takes me.

Dependent on your N:p in my opinion, if your levels are where you want them without dosing, why bother?
So we should be feeding every day. But only test our levels weekly or monthly. Testing each day to determine our levels so that we can also determine whether to rinse food or not, I don’t think is going to happen.

I never do - the amount of added phosphate is miniscule, and I pretty much have to add extra nitrate and phosphate anyway.
