Moved quarantine fish to main display...yah!!!
So time to fill two quarantine bio cubes with inverts and fish.

Anemones not liking quarantine:(

Tempted to put in main display.
But trying to stick with quarantine rules.
All fish look great in their tank.
Anemone-rock ultra...latched onto rock and looks good:)
Shrimp doing their thing look great!
But tube and bubble look stressed:(

Fish and invert quarantine 0 ammonia 0 nitrates.
Used rock and sponges from main sump to start invert Quarantine bio cube 33.

Main display is a beast!
With massive protein skimmer and 24 inch Chaeto ball ...300 lbs rock...i can feed massive amounts of food and nitrates stay at zero!

Nothing but good things to say about that octo protein skimmer!
I don't think you can go to big with skimmer!
I had issues at first because sump level was a variable. Put Neptune's auto top off in and level stays within couple mm:)
SkimMate is thick brown green!
Auto pump stop is great! Being rural we have power fails:( Sump level rises and of course skimmer over flows:(. Not with Octo...that sponge you see above turns off pump when sump level rises:) eventually I will program Apex to stop skimmer when return pump is off...not to start for 20 mins after power back on:)

I have explained this many times!
I believe reef keepers are family oriented people...we like to create safe environment for the people or things we love!

Got some Wrasses in quarantine ...but would appreciate any suggestions.
They don’t seam to have any harmful effect yet....but I have read they can cover and smother corals:(
