Your params look good
A bit high on the alk but can't really say that ever effected my shrooms
Dirty the tank up a bit.
slow down on the WC at least qty
remove the carbon in my opinion

correct shrooms really not fan of high flow

stop adding anything besides your WC and start testing your levels consistent until you figure out your tank usage
alk
cal

you uptake is going to be minimal

You do not need trace this and that :) all just extra crap in my opinion

Keep it simple and take it slow

I value this, but it's a shroom. You're levels can be a little whacked and shrooms should still be fine

yes but he added the birdsnest and stunner so he is going mixed so that will become important at some point

I agree with you the shrooms general can handle swings

When I first started I had all kinds of issues but never struggled with a mushroom of any sort

I agree that it is possible that your water is too clean. I would try to get a bit more nitrate and a touch of phosphate. I know that is sounds different then most people are used to hearing the ultra low nutrient method, but some soft corals like a bit of nutrient in the water.

I used to run my tanks using tap water with seachem conditioner. I had some algae growth. I don't do it anymore, and it's not suggested, but eh, like many things in this hobby... it can be done.

I run tap water no ro/do water no issue with my coral and Im in California where they add the most chimicals
The only major additive in the tap in my area is fluoride, to the best of my knowledge. But I believe that dissipates after a few weeks?

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
