my experience with fourms has been... pretty bad. i left my last fourm after being treated like garbage. my 2 saltwater aquariums i own is a 55 gallon reef setup and a 10 gallon QT. feel free to ask me other questions!

Welcome, you made the right choice. I think I was on that same site. Horrible how the people interact. I have been here for about a month. I have yet to see anything negative.

you may be concerned about the algae but it has been stable and has not gotten worse than this its pretty stable. no by all means its not perfect.

Not concerned about the algea at all. Everyone tank is different. Stability is a more important to me. I have algea, aptasia, and Dino in my tank. I look at it as nature and let it be

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
