Does this coral move by itself
Yes bubble tip anemone, its normal for him to move around to find the best spot for him that he likes.

anemones aren't coral. yes, they move. watch to be sure he doesn't get too close to a powerhead otherwise it can kill everything in your tank.

Welcome-yellow tang is not good in a 25 gallon no matter the size. They are active swimmers and need room.

You mean the anemone ?
Yea it goes where it wants. It's actually a bit advanced for a newb. It will try to find a place where the flow and light are best.
They do move so it's advised to cover your power heads with sponge or cheese clothe so they don't get blendered.

3 weeks and a tang . Ummm you might get lucky but why chance it ? My advice would be to return the yellow as well . I rushed in as well when I started and learned a valuable lesson . a hard one . clowns should do Ok , but honestly I think you should just let the tank run for a month maybe more and then slowly , like every 2-3 months add a fish maybe . it is a smaller tank so things will happen a bit faster than say a 200 gallon tank . but nothing good in reefing happens fast . I wish you luck and enjoyment in the hobby !!!

Sorry to hear about the loss of your Yellow Tang. As many have already stated, a 25 G. tank isn't near enough room for a tang. I have a 150 G. tank and I still think the tangs need more room.... very active swimmers.

Try to relax and be very PATIENT with your new system. While you wait, research fish that are a better fit for your tank. I believe you mentioned having a pistol shrimp -- you can look for a Goby to bond with him it's a very neat thing to watch.

Best of luck to you, and enjoy your tank!
