Ok I have the 30 gal. Jbj RL, aqua max hob, kessil 360 W and 160 tuna blue lighting. A finnex hob fuge, which I'm thinking of getting rid of and doing what @Marktheshark83 did in the back. Right now I'm auto topping myself but I know I need to invest in one. Heim 100 watt heater, oh and I have the controller for the kessils but I haven't set that up either:rolleyes: , I have the RW-4 propeller pump with controller which I love and a hydor wave maker, lots of good flow. I think that's it . Pictures to follow:D
Ok here's some pictures

is it a 30gallon? looks nice.

have you tried a larger waterchange? try a 10 gallon if not next time. how often do you?
Yes, it's a 30 gallon. The aquascape is made for SPS, which obviously isn't ready for any sps. Water changes won't fix the problem at hand.

mine is the 30g jbj rimless aquarium

equipment I have stock pumps, koralia nano for extra flow and Kessil 360we for lighting.

in back in gutted all the stock filtration and replaced with filter floss, purigen and chemi pure elite.
also modded the back into a mini fuge

I don't run a skimmer, never have, never will.

I like the part where you said you'd never run a skimmer lol. I'm the same way about refugiums lol :D

I ditched my chemi-pure and filter floss. I ran my 20 with only a skimmer and never had issues. I started my 30g with chemi-pure and filter floss and have had nothing but issues. But thats the old reef saying "what work for them may not work for you" lol

My 45. Collecting coral slowly and learning as I go. The zoas and mushrooms came together on my first frag, the. The hammer I get a couple weeks ago.

Equipment consists of stock return pumps and media baskets, though I switched out the carbon for GFO.

Vortech MP10 qd with battery backup
Ecotech radion 15 pro
Eheim heater
Aquamaxx hob-1 skimmer
Autoaqua smart ato micro

I have some dragons breath macro in the mail right now. Hopefully it will replace the need for the hob refugium I was considering.

Hmm my post doesn't show my picture. I have a JBJ 45 gallon AIO, which by the end of the week will have a trigger systems 20 gallon refugium in the stand. Currently it has a Intank media basket on the right ( which is twice as big as the standard) in it I have Seachem matrix, carbon and purigen as well as singe filter. In the next basket I have a innovative marine mini reactor filled with phosguard. On the left basket is a coralvue PK skimmer ( I didn't go to a tunze skimmer as I'm moving it down into the refugium. There are two Vortech MP10's wavemakers. A waveline 600gph pump that is controlled (as well as the skimmer and Vortechs.) by a full Apex system. As of now I only have a Chinese made SBreeflights knockoff but am going to a zetlight 6500 this weekend

Hi (holds hand up) I am Cheryl and I have a JBJ tank addiction. My most recent is a 45 gal RL set up for 3 months now. In the last 1.5 year I have had the 20, 30 and 45. In the last 5 years I have had the 28 and 16 gallon.

28 gallon jbj HQI

20 gal RL jbj

30 gal RL jbj.

45 gal RL jbj.

Sometimes I run a skimmer sometimes not so much. Skimmers have been Tunze 9001 and the newer version, and a Desktop Innovated Marine. ATO is JBJ, and lighting is currently a Hydra 52, prior was MH Phoenix. The Hydra 52 is not adding what I want so I will be adding supplemental T5 lighting. Flow is Mp10 and a Tunze wave maker. My go to is always kalkwasser in top off and if needed parts A/B.

First step is admitting you have a problem right. :p

Awesome!! Beautiful tanks, I hope JBJ makes a bigger tank than a 45 cause I know as soon as I get the 45 I'll want bigger. :D

Wishful thinking! Considering Innovative marine was started after JBJ, it's obvious growth is stagnant. I do like the JBJ RL series over the nuvo series, however. :)

Yup. Fat and healthy eating any unwanted algae. Oh and look there is a healthy Coral Beauty as well. I started with extremely large tanks I know the regime, I do not feel the need to have forums legitimize my stocking choices because it's not absurd. Now if there is a tang we might have something to talk about.

I've seen whales in 600,000 gallon aquariums, doesn't make it right. Those fish need swimming room. *shrugs* Kinda surprised is all. I'll be shopping for a dory this weekend LOL
