It's so full u can't really see how pretty some of the rocks really are. So more may have to come out. I want to move the tonga branch to one end and the other tall rock at the other end. It definitely needs more work.

looks great! you got some nice rocks. Yea its a process.
for the stuff your not using you can just add a powerhead, no heat unless its freezing there. I just use buckets. Unless you sneaking in another reef tank.

I don't know where you are at in Houston, but I am on the NE side if you and hubby ever need help with something like that in the future. I'd be willing to help just to meet another reefer.

Wow that's awesome!! Thank you. I love meeting other reefers! I'll send u a pm

I've been working on my aquascape all day. Took more rock out and got some frags glued. Thought I'd post a new picture. Tank is still cloudy. Room moving everything.

That looks very nice, glad you were able to keep it in one piece!
For future reference I did like the comment on drilling w/ a masonry bit, they are cheap, done that a few times, but like the others I'd much rather keep it intact

For making holes for any reason (i.e. frag plugs), that's definitely the way to go. Goes into aragonite like butta. ;)

Yep, drilling rock and using acrylic rods to stack them securely has become standard practice for me, I live where we have quakes, so need the stability.

I'm sure you probably have local clubs near, always good to have reef friends close, I'm not sure how far away DFWMAS is from you, but I bet if you check you can probably connect to others, maybe find local frag swaps and such

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
