Try to look up some aquascaping videos. Bulk Reef Supply has a great one. I used their rule of threes which helped make my scape more appealing to the eye. Try to make several caves for the fish to swim thru and hide. Have fun with it. Took me several weeks to get it done right!

I agree, get it the way you like it and be aware that will change.

It does make it more interesting when you watch the fish swim in and out of the rocks. Instead of around them. I made all my own rocks using the GARF aragocrete method, but I looked at a lot of pictures and found what I liked, then tried to recreate it.

I wasn't as successful in duplicating the image, but I like the way it turned out. Try that as well. Best of luck and it looks like fun!!! I LOVE that part of the tank build.

If I may ask, are you using salt mix water or RODI?
Did you do a leak test on plumbing?

I have a dual reef overflow the tank unfortunately is not level when we filled it (ooopps) it's off about 1/4 of an inch. The right side is higher then the left side....... the left overflow is working but the right is not. How do I fix it WITHOUT draining the tank...... ???

Nasty or idiotic comments not appreciated

Thank you!

It was level before water went in and it's on a concrete slab under the carpet. No padding.

Said without draining but thanks

That would be hard.
You can slowly try to wedge it up but a large tank like that I wouldn't take that chance.
You can also glue temporally a piece of acrylic on the overflow what is working now to bring it at the same level as you other.
If it was m tank I would drain it and level it.

Never assume the slab is level made that mistake before and didn't end well. Sit a level on top of your tank and slowly raise it till level and measure how far off it is. That will give you an idea what size shims and how many you will need. But your will have to drain at least 90% for safety or you will crack your tank

I would drain as well. It's a lot easier to do it now rather than when it's full of livestock and coral. If u don't it will create more problems down the road. 200 plus gallons is a lot of weight
