it has 3 or 4 black deflated tenticals, the torch is fully open and happy. I've read online that this could mean its going to soon grow a new head as there on the bottom of it.
I can see the nub ur talking about, its on the hard base right? Its next to the black tentacles

Deflating tentacles is not a sign of splitting for torch. The head just grow elongated then slowly branch into two equal large (full) size heads
