Is there a way to use aftermarket magnets with the reef waves? Like some stronger neodymium amazon magnets?Controller board is coming out pretty well. I mounted it with the hinges and it works great. I will finish it tomorrow when the plumbing is done. I was bummed that the magnets for my 2 reef wave 25s were not strong enough for this thick of glass so I ordered 2 MP 40s. Looking forward to setting those up in the back with the max spect gyres on the sides. Tank will be wet this time tomorrow. Can't wait.
I'm going to use the reefwaves in my sump. I noticed the mp40s barely hold on. I'll be sure to zip tie the cords. ThxIs there a way to use aftermarket magnets with the reef waves? Like some stronger neodymium amazon magnets?
Be prepared, the mp40’s barely work on 3/4 glass. Gotta have them centered PERFECTLY on startup. And definitely have the cord attached well with the zip tie sticky things.

ThxSweet controller board!
I've been using 2 of these for my tank for almost a year now and no complaints! Its nice being able to turn off equipment through the app or just pressing the individual buttonsI'm running the whole tank with 2 of these wifi power strips. The kasa app seems to work well. It allows for schedules for each plug for refugium lights, dosers, etc. Time will tell if it works well. I used to use the individual gosund plugs but this is much nicer to just use a couple power strips. It even gives current/average power consumption for each plug. Not bad for $60 each.
Congrats on the leak free tank! Been fun following your buildIt's wet! No leaks! Now to finish the controller board, lights, etc. Then starting to move rocks in from the garage.
Video review of the tank.
