A massive aquarium in Berlin burst Friday, propelling 264,000 gallons of water and 1,500 fish and injuring two people.

It's so sad to hear this happened to such a gigantic beautiful reef tank, I'm very sad for the people who were injured, hopefully they will be ok.

Yup. The people who were staying at the hotel saw their plans flushed out into the street until the building inspector and Fire Departments can certify that the building is safe for occupants again.
I’m hoping that they publish the cause of the failure so we can know what caused the loss of integrity and improve designs for future tanks. This shouldn’t have happened and it was a sad day for the community.

This is a very sad day my wife and I were going to school in Berlin for four years and this was our favorite spot to hang out and watch the fishes and have a drink.
