I’m getting really excited about this stock. I might add like 1 other fish far down the road (mabye when I get a skimmer or a algae scrubber and density of coral is high)and that would be a Pygmy perch anthias

I’m planning on making my 3 gallon jar I have into a pico ecosphere with live rock pests and things and it will be really cool and I can research stuff inside it

Is catching fish in a reef tank as hard as it is in freshwater? Because whenever I have to catch any fish I have to like break down my whole tank to catch them and I use the hand trap method too

yes and sometimes even harder to catch with fish like wrasse that can burrow in sand then get crushed by rocks

the bobbit probably 1 gallon is fine but idk where you would even find one

I advocate for feeder fish (even goldfish, livebearers and silversides are much better, I wouldn’t do goldfish in salt) if you still give a varied diet because some fish like payara (fw) or like lion fish (or fast moving predators) need big prey and using a feeder fish is more effective because it will not pollute the water (except for waste) until it’s eaten
