Et grown under 2x it2080 evergrows. Switched last month to radions. Still LEDs. Tank is a 150 gallons, running for 8 months, frags came from my old tank also under evergrows.

Love this shot. The perfect mix, of all colors. None are too prominent. This is how it looks at night, after the sun goes down:

It's hard to judge the differences in lighting when so many people photoshop their pictures.

This is sweet!

Thanks, been working hard to get good colors. I'm usually to embarrassed or nervous to post pics of my tank since I take all of my pics with my phone and feel my tank doesn't live up to the standards here on r2r.

I feel ya. 99.9% of my pictures are straight from my galaxy s2. The other .1% are from my dslr which I rarely get out.

Dennis, are both those pictures with the T5/Halide Combo? Did you consider trying the Radion Pro/T5 combo first?
Yes they are, and no I didn't.
I wanted MH as my main source of light (Radiums) and the T5 are supplements.
More pics starting on this page of my build thread...

You'll notice there isn't a big difference in overall color since I had my Radions tuned to have a very similar looking spectrum.
The biggest difference that you can kind of see in the pics but is MUCH different in person is the tank is a TON brighter.

BCT and Pete,

Try turning off your actenic lights and then add the blue back in on the computer. The blue light confuses the sensors on the camera and it's hard to get the colors right. I'm not saying photoshop the heck out of your pics, just put the blue back in. If you have a mac Iphoto doesn't do to bad of a job at this. I'm sure most other photo programs (even cheap ones) probably have something similar. The pics turn out great this way!

I'm finding a common denominator with most tanks whether it be t5, led or halide. 80% of tanks have some sort of t5. t5 only, mh + t5, led +t5.....
