Congrats on the babies and the house! and the new tank project!!
Looking forward to pics!

Congrats on all your great news! Good luck with the baby!

Congrats on the baby, nice build work.

Thanks!

Look great, man are you busy! Fish room has great potential

Thanks! I'm definitely excited for the potential in the fish room. Going to start off basic, but plan on plumbing in more things in the future.

That's a huge update!

Congrats on the tank, the house and the baby!

Thank you so much!

So I got everything trimmed and finished. I have the doors built and painted. I just need to get them hung tonight or tomorrow. And was able to get three other guys to help me load up the tank and get it moved over today! I think it looks really nice in the wall! I put my old stand in the fish room for now. I think I'll end up moving it out and building something smaller to hold a QT and then put my water RO and SW tanks on the wall. I'm also thinking of building a walkway behind the main tank to be able to get over and in it easier.

I built the stand, framed the wall, moved the water heater to the corner of the room, and have been working on getting all the trim work completed. Right not I just have some finishing details to finish up and build the doors. I'll hopefully get the doors built today, and I'm planning on moving the tank in on Saturday!

Thank you everyone! Super excited for the baby. We’re a little nervous because it’s all new to us but can’t wait. 4 weeks until the due date.

Really pumped that I was able to get the tank going before the baby came. I knew if I waited it could have been a year before I did it.

I took my old Synergy overflow off and installed their shadow overflow in its place. Also got everything plumbed and all the electronics and equipment in place. I legitimately thought this would take an hour, but ended up working on it all day.

The tank is scaped and I added just under 90 pounds of new Tropic Eden Reef Flakes. I really like this sand and have had good luck with it in the past.

Tank if being filled with water and should be full by mid day tomorrow!

I originally came to see the puppy, I too have a Swiss/Bernese Mountain dog that sleeps on his back and coming up on 15 years old.

Glad I stayed to look through the build process. I wish I would have done something similar for my 240g build.

Figured I should add this pic since she’s the namesake for this thread!

So he's a very very very people needy dog. If his peeps are in another room or outside and he's not, he makes this unbelievably high pitch yelping whine. I love him, but he's relentless. So here he is with his pack leader Heidi.
