In the last 10 years I've kept most of the wrasses on my list at one point or a other, I hope one day to have a big enough tank to keep all of them at once.I must admit that I am a big fan now that I have owned one

Yeah, I'd agree mostly, but probably not quite as bad.I think there is a good chance that it will be comparable to rubrisquamis as far as aggression goes.
I don't know, it's pattering is very similar to the Cebu pylei and they can be real jerks, it also reminds me a lot of some of the species in the rubripinnis cmplex and there are some nasty temperaments there too.Yeah, I'd agree mostly, but probably not quite as bad.
What's your thoughts on katoi aggression TJ? I'm thinking middle of the road.
Agree, but I also can't help but hold onto the belief it's also the link to jordani, which could put it somewhere in the middle.I don't know, it's pattering is very similar to the Cebu pylei and they can be real jerks, it also reminds me a lot of some of the species in the rubripinnis cmplex and there are some nasty temperaments there too.
I think that's just wishful thinking, but I would be more than happy to be wrong on that as it's price should be somewhat attainable when it arrives.Agree, but I also can't help but hold onto the belief it's also the link to jordani, which could put it somewhere in the middle.
The Tahitians yes, the Cooks not to me. Hopefully I'll find out (and on the other for that matter).because to me it looks very similar to Cebu pylei in patterning
Ford I can't believe the meleagris male didn't make your list?!?! Especially since I know you have one. I have yet to see any fish come close to the electric blue that looks like under good leds... I couldn't make a list common names or not, too many great wrasses out there. But for the sake of trying in no particular order:
M. Meleagris
Potters leopard
liniatus
rhomboid
exquisite
scotts
bipartitus
timor
radiant
xmas (any of those 3 that are fairly close)
orange back
vroliks
Kuiters
pink margin
velvet
Not a fan of choati's I kind of feel like everyone likes the challenge of keeping one alive because it doesn't really do much for me.
And I have it to look it up when you guys use the scientific names lol
I have a female that is the most enthusiastic eater in my tank and is doing great ::hope I didn't just jinx myself:: I know that the males are more finicky, though.I decided Psychadelic wrasse is impossible. Any body else keep them alive???
Great group shot. I'm starting a leopard family and those 3 are definitely on my list.I'm a fan of the leopard wrasses (Macropharyngodon). Here's my three...
1. M. Bipartitus - Blue star
2. M. Geoffroyi - Potter's
3. M. Ornatus - Ornate
