While still in bed.... check the Apex app to see how much my pH dropped overnight and where my alk is. As soon as I go down stairs - 4 drops of Manganese, 4 Drops of Iron, 6ml of Neophos. I really need to find a way to automate this routine....

After coffee, breakfast, taking care of my little ones (in random order)... I feed my fish. I don't have many fish, so it's an easy count. 3 wrasse, 1 cbb, 2 tangs, 1 ribbon eel.

Since it’s winter nowadays , first thing I glance over is the temperature monitor by the tank. Need to make sure heater is working and no outages. Then I do roll call on the fishes.

Greet the fish. Feed them. Check the corals. Make a mental checklist of anything to do later -- test, change carbon, refill ATO etc...

Look it over. Enjoy the view as the early morning low level blues are running. Then dose the morning 2 part and mag plus other micro elements depending on the day. Lastly pull some frozen food and place it in a small measuring cup of tank water to thaw before feeding.

I dose my all for reef every morning. Lights are usually off before I leave for work so if there is enough natural light I'll look at the coral and give the sump, water level, and equipment a quick glance before I leave. Just to make sure everything is good to go.

1. Check on big tank, little tank, quarantine tank and fresh water tank.
2. Dose all for reef on big tank and little tank.
3. Dose microbacter7 and bacteria balance on big tank
4. Dose NeoNitro in little tank
5. These days I also dose Polyp Labs Medic on the big tank. Hopefully will be able to stop that soon.

Usually happens at 5:15 AM, all lights are off… feeding doesn’t happen till much later. Normally my husband does that when the lights go on.
