Yep it's very very expensive here to rent a space as you say, I guess we are in a way lucky that we have %95 of all aquariums in 1 Street of about 2 blocks. It makes shopping easy, only thing is there isn't much variation between shops. For dry goods the range is not so great, they stock lots of local made goods and very few shops stock us or European made goods. Live stock wise we do have a few good reeef shops in the block and if your willing to shop around tyou may fins a nice few prices of coral.
So the basic rule is give yourself 2 hrs min and go to every shop in the street. Leaving the wife at home of course lol.

@ylreefer - When I take my wife, I drop her off at the places with puppies and kittens then go do my thing.

PNW I was born and raised in a small town, moved to live the city life in Seattle for a bit and then went down south to live In warm weather... realized I hated that and cities and moved back to my small town, never realized how much I loved it here until I left. Port Angeles WA we don’t have a fish store and Canada is 17 mile boat ride. We have tons of trees and rain. But I love it.

When I was in MN for a meeting last month I stopped there on the way to the airport and they were so gracious and accommodating!! Great people I have dealt with.
