Interesting, I did have a green polyp leather that was taking damage from some kind of unseen attacker. As soon as I dipped it in some coral rx, the whole tank livened up. I wonder if it was the leather causing the stress. Hopefully, they will grow up to full size so I can see how they really look. I do spot feed them frequently...I haven't in about a week or two. But I broadcast feed my entire tank and I feed frozen to my fish so I figure the nems won't go hungry anyways.

Tank you for your time,

Kevin

Have these anemones faded out in popularity?

I think they are still very popular but more among nano reefers. I had about 4-5 of them at a time in a 20 long and I had 2-3 fishes get eaten in front of me by 1 particular maxi carpet. That mini carpet was EXTREMELY sticky so once I got rid of them fishes were fine :). I do miss them though lol

I still have them. I keep them in a 12g nano by themselves.

Anyone ever notice any white spots around the mouth? Kinda seems like it could be dead tissue. A few of my nems have it, but most don't. Kinda like how the tissue turns white after fragging. Thanks

I have thirty of these guys in my tank. Love them. Don't know the difference between Mini or Maxi, but the colors are amazing.

Aside from storing a few acans my tank is species only at 7.5 gal.

I have a pair of clowns.. They never touch the Nems.

My YWG(acquired pre-nem tank) will hover over them and pirch near, but never touches. I did witness him panic into a big Maxi and survive. These Maxis grab shrimp from the baster their so sticky.

I'm 9 months into owning them and I have no splits. I cut a few once and lost one that I really liked. Not doing that again. Plus they float around the tank.. annoying.
