Well, hopefully 3 days in a box isn't too long. Just got off the phone with UPS and they said it won't be today, and if I haven't received the package by 7pm tomorrow to get in touch with them.
Yeah, this turned out to be a laughably epically horrible week to ship coral.

of the four boxes with contest frags in them one made it in two days. The other three are still nowhere to be found going all the way back to Monday now.

All I can say is, I’m glad I didn’t bear down and box up a bunch because I’d be a lot more miserable than I am now I can handle losing a a few.

I called UPS yesterday to see if they could do anything at all... and the box started magically moving again.

@Battlecorals btw I did send you an email as well.

I just got a notification that package will be delivered between 10:45 and 1:45, but they’ve said that twice before. At least now they also saying it’s on the trucks and out for delivery. I guess we’ll see in a few hours.

Well, the Poletti is a pretty hearty Acro by any standard, practically bulletproof but. Five days in transit in January, I'm not holding my breath on this one. Anxiously waiting to hear, though I am clinging to a glimmer of hope

I think we were talking about this the other day but I cant remember, what's longest you've had a frag survive in shipping ?

Me too. I’ll send an email as soon as I get everything out of the box and into some fresh water.

For me, it wasn't something I shipped, but was coming to me in a trade years ago. It was all of five days in the summer even and they came in alive. not all of them but most if I recall. So with that in mind, there's always hope

Package showed up. Heat packs hot, water cold, and coral not looking salvageable to my novice SPS eyes. :pleading-face:

Yeah, shoot that’s about what I expected. I’d say anything short of that would’ve been a gift and a surprise. I am impressed that the heat packs are still warm though that’s actually about the only silver lining. I can extrapolate from this.

So lame those looked like they were some nice pieces. When ever I get a frag in ruff shape I always leave them in my tank no matter what in hopes that they might miraculously snap out of it.

I did put some heavy blue light on, and surprisingly the 3 frags on the left do show some color. I’ll leave them be for a while and hope for a miracle, but I just don’t have enough experience with SPS to do anything other than wait.

I actually had two from WWC come in one time that looked ultra dead, but I threw them in anyways and left them. I got credit back for them and both ended up surviving, coloring up, and growing a good bit. Unfortunately they were lost in a Dino outbreak after a vacation last year.
