I guess my bad luck turned good. This one’s much chunkier than the first one that was murdered by UPS.

I’ve got plenty of nutrients (I think). LPS is thriving, and I have a plating monti that grows like a weed, but the efflo I have hasn’t done much growing other than start encrusting on the plug a bit, and the bonus frag (rainbow something IIRC) that Adam sent with it is the same. Encrusting around the plug, but no real growth or PE.

Have you had other acropora recently, just before May timeframe? Something must be irritating the polyps

Out of curiosity, did anyone get a "grow out" Battlesticker with their order? I only ask because I got one for the efflo grow out, but not with this one. I don't know if it's something that Adam does with all the grow out's or just occasionally.
Ya know, I honestly don’t know if stickers were created for this one. I thought there was but I could be wrong. @Battlecorals would be the go to for this one.

More curiosity then anything.... how many are still left to ship? @Battlecorals

How many kids are at daycare still waiting to be picked up?
As of yesterday, Adam was saying he thinks he’s about got 7-10 more frags of Poletti to ship. Before being done with the initial list. If you are on the wait list, I believe we are still ensuring live arrival to the initial list, but there is hope that there are enough frags for everyone.

I was curious. I was one of the first test ships that didn't make it. It's been 0°F here since then. Since then we have been holding reship, and I was curious.

Nope. The two I mentioned were the first other than the plating montipora that’s been in the tank for quite a while. I forgot to mention I’ve also got a red branching monti that’s tripled in size, the last year or so, but very little PE the entire time.

I’m suspecting that perhaps lighting isn’t quite strong enough or the spectrum isn’t quite right. I’m using 16HD’s and both are sitting directly underneath one of them. The lights are about 8” above water, and the coral is about 8” underwater.

Nitrates are running about 5-10ppm, phosphate 0.09 at the moment. I don’t mind nitrate increasing to 20-30ppm, but if phosphate gets above 0.10ppm I will use GFO to reduce.
Meh… I’m running nitrates at 30 and p04 at .2 and my tank loves it!

I was excited to see mine down to .3 yesterday for the first time in I dont know how long.
Same here. It has been riding .5 ish for a good while now. Still getting tons of growth and new frags have colored back up super quick. I had been dosing phosphate-e, and it wasnt doing much, so over the last 2 weeks i trippled what i was dosing... man, i must have had a ton bound up in the rockwork, but after daily dosing about 3ml a day for 2 weeks i am finally down in the .2's. I only have 2ppm no3 though, even dosing 8-9ml randy's ammonium bicarb solution a day. I think i am going to do what Adam does and mix it up a little stronger. Ive been aiming for 10ish.
