I switched to halides, getting amazing growth.

I found this guy about 30 feet from shore in a tidal pool. Just had to wait for the waves to stop crashing in for a minute so I had some calm water to snap a quick picture with the ruler.

Just unplug the wave pump. Should be good to go!

Also looks like you got an urchin infestation
