I have Kalked some Aiptasia and boiling watered some. The Monti Eaters I manually removed what I could, tossed frag plugs with eggs and cut frags of the living parts.

My hands are in the tanks multiple times a day, I just make sure to wash them before and after - up to my elbows.I feed my trigger garden worms in the summer, scrambled eggs once a week and various types of bugs too.
I don't really think about it.
I stick my hands in my tank regularly and I cook for a living.
Agreed....Not the best practice for my safety but...
I already told the wife for my birthday I want some kp aquatics rock because I hate how sterile my tank is.... my 1st tank 8-10 years ago I used to spend hours watching thing crawl out of the rocks and sand... but my fish never thrived. I attributed it to sickness when I started watching all the brs qt videos but now I think it was more that I didn't realize how important water changes were and maintaining salinity because turns out calibrating a refractometer with ro isn't actual a accurate technique.I have Kalked some Aiptasia and boiling watered some. Well... Again:I already told the wife for my birthday I want some kp aquatics rock because I hate how sterile my tank is.... my 1st tank 8-10 years ago I used to spend hours watching thing crawl out of the rocks and sand... but my fish never thrived. I boil, suck up with a syringe and squirtHow do you boiling water coming under water? Lol
I make a coffee mug of boiling water, suck some into a syringe and blast the Aiptasia with it. It will scald any nearby fish or corals as well so beware of that...How do you boiling water coming under water? Lol
well friggin stop it rofl I just came to the conclusion I could do better and keep fish alive and your over hear saying "it worked for me, you just suck"Well... Again:
I just got my first RODI unit about 4 weeks ago from a Secret Santa. My 70 gallon tank with 30 gallon sump has 25 gallons of RODI water total out of the year it has been running. My 125 only got tap water. I do about a 5 gallon water change every 2-3 months typically... Same when I was running the 125. My 5 gallon ran for 3 years without a single water change, only using tap for top offs.
I boil, suck up with a syringe and squirt
I keep it boiling on the stove.
Glass syringe i assume? Or does plastic hold up ok?I make a coffee mug of boiling water, suck some into a syringe and blast the Aiptasia with it. It will scald any nearby fish or corals as well so beware of that...
