I switched everything to dc pumps.
Most of my hearing is gone too.
Too many years of cooking under the hood fan and racing cars, punk music concerts.
Now I can't hear my tank at all!
Or anyone else for that matter....

typically I started turning it off at night then back on in the morning till it needs to run continually. then after a week I clean it. The Sicce 5 is not quiet. The IM might Jet I can't even tell it's on unless I see the flow.
