24hrs in, bubbles escaping reduced a lot, but still not ideal. Can't really see in photo, it's not so bad that I have to pull it, but continue to hope it reduces in the coming days.

I might shorten the air hose, it's longer than needed for my setup.

Skimmate already though, so that's nice!

Micro bubbles will disappear when it breaks in. And the air tube can be cut to needed length.

Would love to test it out! I've got an Aquatop 24 and a Biocube 29 - both with their respective protein skimmers! Was just doing some research on swapping out these skimmers! Happy to write a detailed review/compare to other products if you're interested!
