I hope your corals the best of travel!
Some vendors prep for delays. I hope yours are those as well.

Been there too many times. So much panic and stress. Its all about if the coral is toching the plastic.
whats the issue if it were touching the plastic

Ok? That’s not a shipping thing. You just didn’t get what was pictured.

I think half of it bailed out in the bag from stress. I had lots of polyp tips just loose and floating around. Who knows if it will color up to the pictures. The thing clearly is stressed and will need 2+ months to regrow those polyps

My guess is the rubbing causes stress and irritation, and it means the coral isn’t secured and can bounce around
ahh, i assume their just gonna come in poly bags of water right? i mean ide love if they were like shoved into stryofoam so they stayed up, but i dont think thats possible

The rubbing can also cause injury which makes it easier for infection to take place. Torches, hammers, frogspawn can lose tentacles. Brown jelly takes over.

Also, temperature can be a huge issue if not packaged for delays.

Sorry to see they didn’t make it. I’m actually very surprised.

Good news is they might be ok. ASD does pretty good packaging and they should be good for 2 days. They actually use so much water it gives them a good shot.

Have you contacted them?

for real, i hope yours are okay too
Mine is on that one too but because I live hours from a city they are giving me an arrival date of 6/17…….
Normally that changes when they hit the first center in GA and they’ll hold the truck out of Gainesville for an hour but if Louisville crew isn’t paying attention, it won’t go out on this 3:00 am flight.

ASD ships in cups with a slice in the bottom for the frag plug to stick through. I’ve never had one come in loose.
