Tank has been hitting 80F+ since its in the garage so SPS aren’t super healthy and losing color but regardless here’s some pics

Whats your tank normally run? Mines been 80-81 (turned my heater/inkbird up a few months ago) and its looking better than ever.

Pieces look good. Im waiting till the 27th to show 30/60/90 on the sesame street. Its absolutely belligerent the amount of growth its packed on. Its a legit full colony at this point.

Spent the day in Beverly Hills. Wife wanted to go there for our anniversary. Never a dull moment down there. Some bozo in a lambo thought it was a wise idea to take off fast from a light. All good there…except for the police right behind him. Didn’t take long to get lit up with the red and blues

Most reefers choose those temps for buffer in the event of a power outage. Plenty of natural reefs well over 80F

You think a bit higher temp are better for corals in terms of metabolic rates which affects coral growth

Agree, things metabolize faster is the theory, but bacteria multiply faster, which can be both good or bad if the bad bacteria.

i look at it, If something bad was going to happen at 78-79 its gonna happen at 80-81.
