WOW, doing a fantastic job on that stand. I built my own stand too, but painted in black to hide my non-carpenter skills, haha.

I know this is a little off subject but where did you find your manifold? It looks like 5 te's put together but solid so you dont need to glue them, im having a air leak from mine and that would fix everything.

Nice! Both the stand and the light are looking very slick! I love the stain, it really highlights the grain of the wood. You said you were going to poly it as well didn't you?

i wanted to try and save as much room as poss so when i found this......it was a done deal! so i think my wife likes the color but I'm going to show her in the sun light and then make the decision on a second coat of stain.

Ok so after it dried for a bit The boss n I both think it is glossy enough and are only going to have one coat. I will know for sure tomorrow, but it's looking like only one.

Nice, that stand turned out great. You have some great carpentry skills. That is one thing that I've never had, but I try, haha.

I would go for the second just to make it more durable. You are still waiting on the tank right?

Yes, but not in a rush....good still needs to be completed and stained/painted. Still in no rush

The sump looks like a good layout, hard to tell with the paper still on though. What is the little tank on the far left? ATO?

yes it is the ATO tank....10 x 10 x 15 tall ~6.5 gallons. i put a ledge on it for the aqua lifter to sit on. i also picked up some wire race way....we use it a work in the panels and it keeps the wires lookin tight!!!
i was thinking of taking the wraper off the tanks, but i dont want anything to get scratched....i know its just the sump, but it is pretty!!

LOL I can see that point but it ain't pretty with the paper:tongue:

What wire raceway did you get? I am a sparky by day reefer by night!
