ya this is what i am talking about....problem will be solved, the trim is going to be cut to fit. had a couple friends over to put all our heads together, and this was the best solution.

will get pics up as soon as it is done!

You could always just cut the archway out! :bigsmile: JK. That stinks man. But it sounds like you have it figured out. That canopy is awesome. Heck, its all awesome! Really great job you've done.

ok so i finished cutting off the top trim on the canopy to make it fit and i think it looks fine! also the overflow is all done and not i need to instal it......the first coat of stian went on the top caps for hte half walls. AAHHHH im going to bed

second coat of stain on the caps, and the first coat paint in the canopy went on!! its getting there

Everything is looking great,and I can't wait to see water in this tank. I do have one question though about how the lights mounted to the frame. You have screws going thru the outside of the frame and I am guessing into the side of the light fixture. Were there pre drilled holes in the LED light fixture to recieve these screws? I may have missed this in you post some where, what kind of LED lights are those.

There were holes already there just put longer screws in it. The lights are the evolution fixtures, they are the 120 watt models. The colors are awesome and can't wait to see them above water....lol

ok stain is on and the color matches perfect! the lighting mounts are completed, and the overflow is in and mounted with the plumbing inside the tank done. ahhh this thing is killin me!!!!

let me know what you guys think about the color match...in person it looks great!

got the aluminum for the led moon lights, cut and installed as well last night.

first coat of poly on hood today as well as a bunch of little misc crap....tomorrow poss the second coat, and this weedend water time....i hope....LOL
