Super nice! wish i could upgrade to a tank with dimensions like that. But the door and staircase to the basement wont allow it. :(

Great looking tank and great taste in specimens.

Thank you both, very much.

The dimensions does make it difficult, if you have small doors...lol. That was our problem, with the stand. I had to build it in sections, outside, and then bring them inside to assemble them. The tank barely fit through our door, the stand wouldn't, at the size I built it.

Took a few pictures, yesterday, and thought I'd post some.

Today, while doing a water change, I decided to take some pictures, from a different point of view. With all the pumps turned off and about 30 gallons of water missing. I got down low and shot at the surface reflection, from below.

Because, with some pics, I had the camera angled up, pretty severely, some of the pics aren't totally focused.

Since I had to spend a few hours scraping coralline algae today, which I HATE doing, and only do about once every 4 months...lol...I figured I'd snap a few photos.

These are the first full tank shots I've taken, since early November...lol. That was the last time I scraped.

Here's a few random pictures, through clean glass...lol. The water's a little dirty, from massive coralline dust floating everywhere.

Grrr. Mushrooms that migrated from the 75. I thought I'd eradicated ALL of them, when I moved everything over to the 200. A few months later, I saw one pop up on this rock. Now....

Thank you! LOL Yes, now that you mention it, it does look like that.

Looking good! What is the Wrasse in the first pic?

Thanks Skinz! The wrasse is a Red Head Solon Fairy Wrasse, some call it a Clown Fairy Wrasse, (Cirrhilabrus solorensis)

Looks really good. I plan on ordering a 200DD here in a couple of months.

Thank you! You won't regret it!! A word or warning: If you build your own stand, the Life Time Warranty becomes a 2 year warranty. Also, make sure to pay close attention to the 4 holes, drilled in the bottom, if you build a stand. They are VERY close to the edge and it's easy to block them, with the stand build.

Very nice tanks and fun thread to read. Enjoyed it...

Thank you very much!!

LOL Yes, way too much stuff! If we owned our own home, I'd knock out a wall, to make room for a 300DD! Angie is very supportive and is even as addicted as I am. She has her own Nano, that she loves. There's a thread on here, about it, I think. Her username is Madisons_Mommy.

FINALLY!! PROOF OF EXISTENCE!!

About 11 months ago, we purchased a Swales Swissguard Basslet. Since then, it's been VERY SECRETIVE. We've actually gone weeks, wondering if it's even alive, only to see a flash of it, every now and then. Well, it just gave me a few seconds to take some bad photos. I apologize for the low image quality, but it was either take the pic it gave me, or wait, who knows how long...lol.

One last one, before it exits, stage left. Sorry about the reflections.

Speaking of rarely seen...

Reintroducing Abby!! (Madison names "her" a few years back!)

We've had this turbo snail, since we began this hobby. It's made the transition from our original tank, a 29, to our 46, then the 75, and finally, into our 200. It's hard to believe that something this large would be able to hide, but it does. We'll go many months, without even seeing it, to catch a glimpse of the shell, deep in the rocks. Every few months, Abby makes the journey out onto the glass, showing us that "she's" not only still alive, but has grown even more...lol. She's 3"+ across!

Since I had the camera out, and food thawing, I decided to spot feed some corals.

I've spot fed corals, on occasion, but never regularly. After doing some recent reading, on the beneficial increased growth rates, especially in Acans and Echinophyllia, I've decided I'm going to start feeding more regularly.

It's kind of a sad day, but not really....lol.

The other day, this magnificent bubble coral was relocated, to a fellow local hobbyist. After being with us, for at least 2 years, we'll miss it, but it was just taking up too much room, for some changes I plan to make in the future. It was time...

So these will be the last "current" photos of this beauty, from my tank. However, I know where it went, and will visit it, when I can. So, other photos may come, in the future, in someone else's tank!

This Bubble Coral is nearly 12" in diameter, in these photos, sometimes expanding even larger.

So, we went to Coral Props, today, and picked up our Taumotsu Ultra Maxima clam. For those of you unaware, Coral Props is a greenhouse coral propagation facility, here in the Spokane area. He uses nothing but natural sunlight.

Here's some teaser shots, since it's in low light, right now. I'll have more pics of it, tomorrow evening.

Here it is, still at Coral Props, this afternoon, under nothing but natural sunlight.

Here it is, at home, acclimating, with the help of my granddaughter.
