Do not probe the sand bed! This often will make the leopard stay in the sand even longer.

Small leopards usually take cyclops, calanus copepods, and fish eggs, larger leopards never refuse PE mysis ime.

If you are getting close to 14 days without seeing it, just give LA a call and let them know. They are good about honoring the guarantee.

Do you have an in tank acclimation box? I recommend your wife open and start acclimation, but no longer than 20 minutes and have her place the wrasse into the acclimation box.

Only 20 min on acclimation????@4fordfamily
More than 20 minutes and you risk complications of ammonia in the water, and that is far more dangerous than any other discrepancies in the water parameters.

Get them out asap since they ship horrible. 50 50 even arriving alive ime. I like live aquaria for them due to the 14 day guarantee. Usually you know if it will make it by that time. And they often extend guarantee if you have an issue.

Keep her in the acclimation box for a few days and she will get used to your light cycle faster.
