Finally Set up the Apex

So im really thinking of getting cameras set up for the apex. Would you guys be able to see it thru fusion?

I noticed theres a new setting for weather type. You can program lights for "Cloudy" and "Lightning". So glad i returned the VDM Module. lol

This is the Beta so The live camera option is not available but seems there's a future location where you see the two images one of a fish and the other a reef.
You can still run up to 4 one per dashboard via your regular Apex view which still be seen and monitored remotely or locally.
I use a Dlink 942, 932 and a Forscom.

Trido how are you operating the jebao's. Reef angle cable or your own design?

i thought you said Reef Angel. They carry some good hardware. I wonder if you can use it for Apex.

Will have to pick one up and give it a try but I had it hard wired and could not get it to do anything

So i figured out how you dont need to connect it to your router. You can actually connect the Apex to your computer with the USB cord to update firmware and get started.

That's what I've been doing for updates. But if you want to use your phone or fusion for it you need some way to connect into the net.

do you disable the wifi from your laptop before plugging in the ethernet cord from you base controller to your laptop? How do i download the firmware to my computer first?

Download the firmware from neptunes site. At the top of page it's under support-firmware. It will download everything you need for the new version. Then disable wifi, plug into apex and use the flash program that you just downloaded. May have to cycle power to the apex after disconnecting from game adapter

Use the flash and try to see it finds it first. If not to cycle just unplug the power bar for a few sec and plug back in

One more question. So my Kessils keep flashing white every 10 minutes out of nowhere. Even when they are on. The blue will flash white for a quick second. Is this due to the firmware? I have it programed on a ramp schedule if you go on my var you can see the schedule.

I cut the cords and thenI soldered two resistors where they were needed an heat shrink taped them to waterproof
