You can run it once a month, or every other month, or never. I don't run any, ever.

You don't need to run a skimmer in the QT. But would be a good idea to run a filter of some sort.
As for adjusting your lights, what kind are they?
Have we established that lil dude that you want to kill is an Aiptasia? Doesn't look like a pest to me. Got a pic of some others?

Thank you for your feedback. My QT is just a Petco Fruval. It's 10g. I do have a HOB filter running. Lights came with tank. LEDs, blue/white. But my corals and fish look better than my DT?

. I have the white light on tight now, cuz working on exotic plants stacked around tank.

Why are your corals in the QT? Just dip those and put them in the DT.
Do you have the same lighting on the DT as the QT?

I took skimmer out. Put blue lights on and checked parameters. All looks good. How many weeks for quarantine. Fish? Corals? Shrimp?

All the pests look the same. There is at least 20 growing now. Do I leave them alone or parish them?

Could be majano anemones, if I'm not mistaken. You really do need to kill them. I'm not sure how, though.

I do not have the same lighting. I do not have any coral dip here, until I get to LFS. I live 1.5hrs away from a good SW fish store.
