WELCOME to R2R!!! I recommend patience. Lots and lots of patience. Your nems will find their happy place all on their own. The clowns may or may not take up residence. I have three clowns and they all waited about three months before making a home in the nems.
I second this... Patience is extremely important. New reefers tend to worry about everything and over react to minor issues. It is similar to getting a new car and worrying about every scratch and puddle you drive through. Just be patient and consistent with you maintenance and don't over react. You can do more harm than good trying to do too much.
Welcome to the wonderful world of reefing
ps. Master the cheap coral before spending the big bucks.

Hi and Welcome! Almost 1 year in, and what I've learned is:

1. Take it slow.
2. Read. Read. And read some more.
3. Don't impulse buy.
4. Read more
5. Patience.
6. Ask questions.

You'll thank yourself down the road.

Hi!! I am new to saltwater tanks This far, I am having sooo much fun!! Instead of watching the I watch my fish tank lol!! Although, I seem to have more questions than answers My latest question is about my new rose bubble tip anemones. I added them Saturday (4 days ago) They pretty much stayed put where we put them at first but now one of them moved down to be under my rock in the shade? Annnd, my clowns won’t go anywhere near either of them:/ Any advice would be very welcome!!
Reduce white light intensity a little . It may be avoiding brightness although they’re photosynthetic

Form or function: Do you consider your rock work to be art or the platform for your coral?
