Tried that and even steel wool. It's a pain but it seems like I will have to go to the next level to clean it up or leave it as is.

^I was wondering that myself.
I saw in a previous post where you tried the Mr. Clean Bar (brush)? But curious if you tried the Mr. Clean Magic eraser? My personal #1 aquarium cleaning implement!
But I too am curious what the "next level" is?
This got me thinking.....I would think soda blasting could be a viable option and certainly worth a shot depending on the extent of the "stains" your dealing with.

I had an old 180 that had the same issue 12gallons of vinegar later, and still looked like that...
Cerium Oxide felt polish pad.
Works but takes a ton of man hours.

Everything is coming along real good.
Almost looks like an old school tank.
It looks like it is coming together. I'm excited to see the outcome. I did the same thing with my last 210 tank. Then just built up my 150. I keep forgetting to take photos along the way. I really like the stand too
