RO membrane stuck cap

Are the membrane caps a pain to take off.

@slayertx Wow, that sounded like quite the epic struggle. Occasionally those caps can really get stock on there. With the high pressures that regularly build up inside of the housings, as well as buildup on the o-rings/threads over time, this can cause the threads to lock up in some cases. Best solution I've found for this is to tap around the edges of the cap with a decent amount of force (kind of like loosening up a pickle jar), which can help to break whatever is locking the cap up, and then if that doesn't work running the cap under the hottest water you can for 30-60 seconds. I've had some challenging ones, but this has never failed.

I also agree with the above suggestion of greasing the o-rings. I do this whenever I have to change out filters as it makes it much easier to remove in the future.
