I use glued joints for all my fittings, aside from the ones that mount to the top of the reactors and the ones that thread into the Red Sea return assemblies.

Many thanks!! I had my tank sitting in the garage since getting it on Black Friday. Thought I'd get it up during Christmas break, but that ended up being more kid time than dad toy time. Finally getting around to setting it up now.

I'll post pics and start a build thread soon.

I'm interested to see how those clear pipes look in a year. Always wondered what goes on in there.

LOL

I'm OCD and each pipe is easily taken off and a brush put through (I did this this way specifically to clean) so for me they will look the same LOL.

Now if you do not set up like I did to be able to clean them I'm sure they will get slimy and brown.

And yea I've also wondered what goes on in their Haaaa

They will definitely be nasty... but he said he can easily service them.

When I sold my old original manifold/plumbing setup, which was about 1 year old, it was pretty disgusting. And my tank/sump runs ultra clean.

Hey Reef2Reef Community
Ive been looking at buying a Red Sea Reefer XL525 aquarium Does anyone have the dimension specs for the inbuilt sump?
Ive got a tunze 9430 DOC skimmer and was wondering if it will still work in the inbuilt sump?
its operating water level is between 100mm and 200mm

Well that only took 3 months lol

Finally water and Real Reef Rock are in should look good full of sticks :)

All that is left is to clean up the power side of the cabinet just waiting on the new Profilux to do that tho.

Also waiting to hook up the PAC Sun Calcfeeder and Auto top off and water change level switches as the basement is all done ready with new salt and fresh water

Wondering if those AI rails would work on a couple Ocean Revive T247's?

My Nano arrived yesterday and I got it all plumbed. Tightening the pipes in the overflow from the bottom is much easier than from the top like I've seen in some vids. That'll teach me to read the manual before I set up next time because tightening from the bottom is what Red Sea recommends.

Here's my XL425. Only three days into the cycle. Have to get back in there and tweak the aquascape a bit once my frustration subsides. Assembling rocks on the basement floor--easy; getting the scape to look the same in the tank--impossible . I also have to raise the Kessil a little.
