Really nice job so far. Nice growth response. Mine is puddling out like crazy but didn’t branch like yours. I don’t like looking at it, I’ll end up being the first rtn in the contest lol

What do you mean by puddling out?


Mines colored up pretty well and is getting thicker and encrusting its base rather than growing upwards, I believe, since it’s in a very high flow area

Just encrusting instead of branching out.

As you can see mine has not encrusted much. My acros typically do not encrust they just grow vertically if they like the tank. I am lucky for some reason.

Been a slow start. Mine is finally encrusting the glued base, but not quite over the glue yet like others, dang. I had a little struggle with low nutrients, a little dinos, but things are clearer and nitrates are keeping steady with dosing. I have lost a few others from the same order, but Houdini is keeping on keepin'.

Nothing exciting here.. it seems to be surviving the summer of neglect. In the process of changing t5 bulbs and if it survives that I think I’ll be in good shape.
Alk was 7.7-7.9ish(salifert) last I checked and phos was .14(Hannah).
