The fish transfer has gone well and they seam to like the larger tank. I actually see the fire fish regularly instead of only at feeding time.

I decided to head on over to one of our LFS to pick up a blue hippo tang that I saw that had been there for few weeks. Got to the store and the fish had been sold 30 min earlier. Ok np so my Mom who was along for the ride and I ate dinner. After dinner being up at that side of town I decided to got to the large Petco just to look. This one petco keeps their place very clean and fish are healthy. I had not been there in several months. We walked in as took a look and to my surprise the had a Biota baby yellow tang. I was like that is cool but I want to add 3 at the same time. Then I noticed 2 more coming out from behind the rocks. Hmmm $199.00 each but decided to pass. Kept looking around and say a sign that said buy a petco bucket and whatever aquatic supplies you could fit in it was would be 20% off including fish. So I said what the heck let’s get them. So bought the bucket for $7.00 and got the 20% off but I also had a coupon for another 20% off and they let me use that as well. For a total of 40% off . So I got them for $120 each. Also picked up a biota blue hippo at the same time.

Last night the new Bashsea 48 Pro sump was delivered only about 3 too 4 weeks early. They packed the sump very well and no damages what so ever. After about 30 min pealing off the wrapping on the sump it was ready to move into the stand.
The next thing is to plumb this in. I have 2 1” drains and I want both of them to go into the filter roller. The filter roller has a 1.5” inlet. I have a good idea how to accomplish this.

Things have been coming along nicely and slowly so it has been a while for update but here it is. We went through the ugly stage and had a very bad algae outbreak. I added a pink pin cushion urchin and a Sea Hair. This got it under control. Started stocking a few more fish and moved a few LPS corals over from the 150.
Some of the fish added were a shoal of Chromis about 20 of the along with 4 Lyertails . This has spread out the aggression over many fish and I have lost ZERO( knock on wood) .
Also kept playing with power heads for flow and have settled on 3. Maxspec 350 gyres and 2 Mp60s. I added the Neat Aquatics wide flow nem guards and this helped a lot with the sand getting pulled back to the MPs.
Also put in my first test Acro frag. So far so good over the past week.
Some pictures of uglies and now.
