I just measured it with the Milwaukee digital and it says 1.027 which is higher than my plastic one at 102.5.

Going to do a tiny WC and bring it down to 1.026 at a minimum.

Theres also nothing wrong with 1.027 i shoot for 1.0265. You also need to consider our test kits arent the most accurate, specifically mag. But if youre doing WC with a quality salt that has elevated mag, you can stop wasting money on mag tests once you have a hydrometer - if ya want. You can then take that savings and do ICPs and see that its not worth the energy testing and dosing, or just do quarterly corrections if needed.

I wouldnt do that. You have two units that dont appear to be accurate. I would do nothing if things look happy. I would focus on getting a hydrometer, since they never lie or lose calibration. Also very cheap.

If you use rscp you shouldnt need to dose mag.

Keep in mind im not saying dont monitor it in some form over the long haul but weekly testing and dosing is a bit much IMO
