Just some pics to document what it will do with the micronano method.
Started bubbling on 4/01/16 (no joke).
I have a Lee's limewood diffuser about 1.5" away from the return pump in the sump.
Running it for 8 hrs to start out with.

Beautiful! I'm curious to see the effects of the bubbles over time.

P.S. It looks like those acros need a trim. I'll take one of each! Haha

Yeah me too, I really didn't have too bubble but I though "what the heck why not" Talking to Cruz for many hours and listening to why this all came together made me think.
I'm not like many others that is dreaming to have a "Reef in the Sky" with minimal work.
Having my tank as it is was hard work and the up keep is just my everyday thing, like a walk in the park.

Can we just start with 10 frags as I'm out of large boxes :D
Last week did send out the Christmas pack finally after 3.5 months on the frag rack
We all remember the guys tank had some sort of Dino's and he was ready last week as his tank was cured.

Glad to hear he cleared up the issue and you got the frags cleared out! I'll be checking back for the updates on the bubbles!

!*!*!*!*! Spring update !*!*!*!*!

We have many many many purple acros in this hobby and that's great, really, really great for the hobby.
As I've seen many Purple acro's myself I've not seen one like the one I have.
I have been sitting on this wild piece for two years now and finally it speaks for itself.

It hasn't had a name yet to be recognized but I'm thinking of all that happened yesterday in Honor of............ "The DC Purple Rain Acro"
Will see over the weekend if I can get a few frags of it.

Yes it is, very slow growing.
Yesterday it went on Gary's FB auction for $45.

Nice build and beautiful tank. I have a recent one of those from Gary but mine has more the coloration of a true red dragon with a little more subdued red and blueish tips. If not for the growth habit I would think it was a red dragon. Of course its still not fully acclimated to my tank from shipping.

You might have the American Patriot vs the Iron Patriot, AP has some what of blueish tips. I have the AP too and looks different than the IP.

Looks good & thanks for confirming, but ouch on the 45.00

That's not ouch. On Ebay when first released they went for $200. I must say never seen something like it.
I've a few redish acro's from RMF, JF, RR USA TCK but the IP from Gary is something.

Looking good Ben, the bubble experiment seemed to work, I can see the difference in your SPS, looks more healthy and colorful. Can you show us an updated FTS.

Oh yeah forgot about the iron patriot and thought that's what you were talking about. His pic of AP looks like that just with the blueish tips.
